Signalling desk voice and data interface
The Audio Console allows the signaller to speak directly over the radio network to all trains. A simple Push To Talk button on the handset initiates a call.
The accompanying touch screen allows the signaller to monitor and control the network. The display shows which mobile radio ID is broadcasting and on which channel, the state of the fixed line links to the base station (with the ability to connect and disconnect as required) and other diagnostic information including any system alarms generated by the base stations.
The Audio Console display also shows a history of previous calls.
